Youll be ordering all the food, menu planning and ensure all health & safety regulations are in place. As our Cook, youll be responsible for ensuring that all stock is recorded when received and expenditure records are maintained. Youll plan and prepare all meals catering to our diverse customer group to ensure all meals suit a variety of dietary needs and cultures. Typical day as a Cook Overseeing the management of the kitchen as directed by the service manager. Responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining adequate stocks of food. Responsibility for the overall cleanliness of the kitchen, pantries etc. Maintain stock sheets and do stock checks as required Fancy going home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers lives for the better? Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to keep calm under pressure. An understanding of the principles of confidentiality Flexibility and ability to relate to vulnerable people with sensitivity.
