Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Fry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace.

Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
* Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and quality standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
* Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and prepping ingredients as needed.
* Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure the highest quality of meals.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, particularly in frying techniques.
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including equipment handling and maintenance.
* Familiarity with culinary practices and meal preparation processes.
* Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
* Previous experience in a restaurant environment is advantageous.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
