Enterprise Data Architect (Salesforce) Duration: 3 Months Location: Manchester & remote (Hybrid working) Rate: £680 per day IR35 Status: Inside Start: ASAP An Enterprise Data Architect (Salesforce) is required for our higher education client who are embarking on an exciting digital transformation journey, beginning with the implementation of Salesforce for their Alumni and Development teams. This strategic initiative will replace a legacy platform, enhancing engagement and operational efficiency. It marks the first step towards establishing a unified, enterprise-level CRM solution across the organisation laying the foundation for future integration and innovation in how they connect with their global community. As part of this transformation we require an experienced Data Architect with a strong background in Salesforce to lead the design and governance of data architecture across their CRM ecosystem. This role will be instrumental in defining data models, integration strategies, and data quality frameworks in collaboration with third-party implementation partners. As the Data Architect (Salesforce) you will ensure that data flows securely and efficiently across systems, enabling meaningful insights and supporting long-term scalability as they move towards a unified enterprise platform. In addition to working with the project team and third-party Partner implementing Salesforce, this role will involve working with a range of IT Services (Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, Integration Architects, CRM Team, etc) and end user teams. Essential Skills & Experience required: As the Data Architect (Salesforce) you will be experienced to lead the design and delivery of scalable data architecture solutions. Salesforce CRM experience is essential for this role and project. The role involves translating complex business requirements into effective data models, implementing enterprise data management practices, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will possess strong expertise in relational data structures, data modelling tools, and enterprise repositories, along with a solid understanding of data governance, quality, and security standards. Familiarity with compliance regulations such as GDPR and CCPA is essential, as is the ability to analyse and align data solutions with organisational needs. Desirable qualifications are TOGAF, Enterprise Big Data Professional and Certification in Business Data Analytics (CBDA). Salesforce Certifications are also desirable. Experience in Higher Education and/or CRM implementation projects is also desirable.
