We are seeking a passionate and motivated person to support our communities to lead healthier and more active lives while directly addressing inequalities in the areas we serve. This post is primarily based to work at Choose Fitness based within Adwick Leisure Complex.
Adwick, went through significant development late 2025, which has enabled the venue to grow significantly. This is an exciting time to be joining the company as the investment programme of venue improvement continues to progress across the portfolio of venues.
The role will be diverse and challenging, and will make a significant difference to people and their long-term wellbeing. From customers with restricted mobility to those recovering post operative and the public who wish to continue their physical activity journey.
With strong social and community connections this will be a rewarding role, building rapport and great working relationships.
The role: You will need to be a qualified Level 2 Gym Instructor, a qualification in Exercise Referral would be desirable, if you don't currently hold this you will be required through a structured training programme to achieve Exercise Referral qualified status.
You will work with the venue teams to ensure the fitness areas operate safely and efficiently. The vital role of a Fitness Instructor will see you working within a gym environment, welcoming customers front of house and ensuring cleanliness of the facility, helping our members achieve their fitness and well being goals, and ultimately ensuring that every visitor has the best possible experience.
Any additional formal qualifications would be advantageous, as would any wider social or health experience.

Hours: Average of 37 hours per week, with shift patterns working across days, evenings, and weekends
Salary :£25,081 per annum.
