Overview
SRG are delighted to once again be working with a specialist aerospace & defence manufacturing company based in North Lanarkshire to assist in their search for a quality manager to oversee the implementation and upkeep of the QMS whilst ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The Role
* Lead an experienced quality engineering team who are responsible for enabling product and process compliance to relevant industry standards.
* Develop and maintain the organisations quality management system (QMS) according to ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
* Lead all quality assurance activities including inspections, audits, and product testing, ensuring relevant documentation is maintained accurately.
* Work closely with customers and suppliers to address quality issues as and when required.
The Right Person
* Management and development of quality management systems – AS 9100 standard (Desirable)
* Team management experience
* Demonstrable experience identifying and implementing process improvement
* Industrial knowledge of the process and controls used in the manufacture of high reliability products
* Comfortable communicating with a wide range of customers and suppliers
Role Details
* Salary up to £70,000 p/a
* Fully dayshift & Mon‑Fri (Half Day on a Friday)
* Permanent, full-time position
