Overview
NFF Precision are seeking an experienced Quality Manager who has the skill set to be accountable for the quality of all products & processes. You will be given full autonomy in managing all quality matters on site and within the business. You will be the first port of call for Quality related matters and will be an advocate of Quality within the business. You will have an eye for detail, be reliable and committed to ensuring conformity is achieved within all levels of the business.
Key Duties
* Implement, manage and maintain the Quality Management Systems. (AS9100 / ISO14001 / NADCAP).
* Responsible for all product Quality Assurance.
* Ensure continued compliant against our certifications.
Other Duties
* Ensure all actions derived from audits are resolved, implemented and controlled.
* Support any new accreditations / certifications the business require.
* Plan, lead and execute all non-conformances as required to effectively analyse root cause and determine preventative actions, including the full completion and submission of all NCRs.
* Overall responsibility for the Quality Inspection department, equipment and mentoring.
* Act as the main point of contact for customer and supplier quality matters.
* Facilitate internal and external audits, including customers and accrediting bodies including BS EN 9100, ISO 14001 and NADCAP & ensure the required frameworks are continuously adhered to.
* Develop solid working relationships with Customer Quality representatives to enable effective interaction as required.
* Prepare and submit Quality reports as required by the company, including Supplier performance and internal and external Non-Conformances.
* Supporting the inspection team to achieve required outcomes and ensure customer requirements are met.
* Effectively communicate quality requirements to other members of the team as required.
* Overall responsibility for the Quality inspectors, including their training and mentoring.
* Review and complete relevant sections of contract review for the quality department.
* Proven experience as Quality Manager or relevant role.
* Ability to be part of internal and external audits.
* Experience of managing non-conformance databases (Including supplier and customer returns).
* Working within a team to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
* Able to competently use Microsoft office packages.
* In depth knowledge of regulated industry standards, such as AS9100, ISO 14001, NADCAP.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally at all levels within the organisation. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
* Good understanding of quality control principles.
Preferred Requirements
* Experience of NADCAP Audits
* understanding of technical welding qualifications.
* A background and basic knowledge of Fabrication, Welding and CNC Machining processes.
* Ability to Report on Supplier performance, Quality and OTIF
