Job Role: Quality Manager

We are currently recruiting for High-end precision engineering advanced manufacturing company with emphasis on difficult, high-integrity work. There is predominantly for the aerospace and defence industry.
Job responsibilities of a Quality Manager:
1. Ensure the company's products meet internal and external quality standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP requirements.
2. Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry-specific standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
3. Promote awareness of customer and regulatory requirements throughout the organisation.
4. Report to top management on QMS performance and areas for improvement.
5. Liaise with external auditors and certification bodies to maintain accreditations.
6. Oversee all inspection activities, including visual, manual, and CMM checks, ensuring product conformance.
7. Establish and enforce inspection methodologies, prioritising manual verification in case of CMM non-conformance.
8. Ensure accurate reporting of First Part Yield (FPY), rework rates, and non-conformance trends.
9. Implement and monitor KPIs for quality control, including scrap and rework analysis.
