We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Catering Manager to join our established catering team at Tavistock College. The position requires someone with culinary flair and imagination to continue and enhance the catering offer that the existing team has worked hard to achieve. Engagement with students and staff plays a vital role in menu planning, themed days, events and promotes a positive food culture across our schools. As a key member of our Trust’s catering team you will work closely with colleagues based in other schools within our Trust to ensure we achieve the highest standards and continue to enhance our catering offer across all Trust schools.
Job Purpose
To lead in the cooking and serving of nutritious food to our students and staff and provide an efficient and high-quality service across our family of schools.
To have overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen, including compliance and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Training & Onboarding
Successful candidates will be required to attend mandatory training at the DMAT Head Office. The training schedule is daily sessions from 9am to 4pm, with breaks provided.
