HR Manager (12 month FTC) Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our Corporate Client on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Based in Derry/L'Derry, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage HR operations across multiple locations, NI & GB and remote employees. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering practical HR solutions, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with UK and NI employment legislation. The Role: As the HR Manager (UK), you will: HR Service Delivery : Provide responsive and practical HR support to leaders and employees, acting as a trusted partner to leadership teams. Employee Relations & Absence Management : Lead and manage employee relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Recruitment & Talent Management : Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring Fair Employment compliance, and support talent management, succession planning, and training initiatives. Compliance, Governance & Risk : Own and execute the UK HR compliance plan, ensuring policies and procedures align with UK and NI employment legislation. Payroll & Benefits : Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and support wage bargaining processes. Culture & Wellbeing : Partner with leadership to embed culture and wellbeing initiatives that foster a positive and sustainable workplace environment. Projects : Lead HR projects assigned by the HR Director, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. The Person: To excel in this role, you will need: Essential Criteria : Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar HR role within a fast-paced environment. CIPD Level 5 qualification (or higher). Strong knowledge of UK and NI employment law and HR best practices. Proven ability to communicate confidently and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Legal right to work in the UK. The Reward: Attractive Salary : Contract : 12 month Fixed-term maternity cover.
