PeopleSoft Technical Developer Location: Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 remote) Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Duration: Permanent About: This business is an international leader in the aerospace, defence and energy markets, employing more than 9,000 people at over 40 manufacturing facilities and regional offices worldwide. This is not a purely support-focused role - you'll play a key part in developing, integrating, and modernising a large-scale PeopleSoft HCM platform that underpins critical HR processes globally (including payroll, talent acquisition and benefits). You'll join a small, highly technical international team, working across both BAU and project work, with a strong emphasis on integration development, system enhancement, and improving legacy architecture. Responsibilities of the role: Developing and enhancing PeopleSoft HCM solutions across a global environment Designing and building interfaces and integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems Maintaining and improving a large number of existing integrations, including modernising legacy interfaces Troubleshooting and resolving system issues, including code-level fixes Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions Supporting ongoing initiatives to improve system performance, automation and user experience Collaborating with HR, IT and global stakeholders on new features and enhancements Skills required: Strong background in PeopleSoft development Experience with: PeopleTools / PeopleCode Application Engine / Application Designer Integration Broker SQL / PL-SQL XML, REST APIs, SFTP Proven experience building and maintaining system integrations and interfaces Ability to work across both support and development in a live enterprise system
