We need a volunteer who can, gradually, in their own time, find companies who will promote our projects to their staff through Payroll Giving in order to encourage donations through their payroll.

What are we looking for?
You will need to be friendly, creative, innovative and tenacious with some knowledge of how business works. Experience of Payroll Giving would be an advantage but if you are outgoing and intelligent you will soon learn. It will help if you are organised and can structure your time while building up a business database of contacts. Experience in the following skills would be useful. Copywriting / Journalism Marketing strategy Social media marketing Database / CRM development Business development / Sales

Payroll Giving, also known as Workplace Giving or Give As You Earn (GAYE), is a scheme for UK taxpayers to donate money to UK Registered Charities directly from their gross pay. The donations are taken from the pay before income tax is applied, making it a tax-effective way to give. Do you think you could sell our organisation to theirs, if so please get in touch. Your role would be to find get in touch with the HR departments of companies who want to offer their employees the opportunity to donate to our campaigns via their salaries. You will build up a database of businesses/organisations and contact their HR departments/CEO's to 'sell' our organisation and latest project.
