You will be comfortable operating in an environment where priorities evolve, processes continue to mature, and collaboration across teams is essential.You will help create clarity, alignment and momentum across the business whilst ensuring our people practices remain pragmatic, scalable and people focused.Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Operations and Compliance* Maintain contracts, policies and HR documentation* Ensure compliance with UK employment law, and coordinate to meet local Portuguese requirements* Manage onboarding and offboarding processes end to end* Oversee payroll inputs in coordination with Finance* Administer benefits and liaise with providers* Maintain accurate employee data within Group systems such as Workday* Ensure timely completion of Group reporting cyclesRecruitment and Onboarding* Coordinate recruitment processes with hiring managers* Ensure consistent job descriptions and interview practice* Manage candidate communications and documentation* Deliver structured onboarding aligned to Group standardsEmployee Relations and Manager Support* Handle day-to-day employee relations matters proportionate to a small business* Support managers with early-stage performance, conduct and capability matters* Provide clear documentation and process guidance* Escalate complex cases to the CEO or Volaris Group HR as appropriateSystems and Group Alignment* Act as the primary liaison between Aion and Volaris Group HR* Ensure disciplined use of Workday and other Group platforms* Support headcount, attrition and compliance reporting* Coordinate participation in Group learning and leadership programmes* Translate Group best practice into practical local applicationSkills and ExperienceEssential* HR generalist experience in a small or scaling organisation* Good working knowledge of UK employment law* A track record of independently running HR operations* Confidence supporting managers on practical people matters* Experience using structured HR systems (Workday an advantage)* CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experienceDesirable* Experience in a software or technology environment* Portuguese language skills* Familiarity with Portuguese employment law* Experience operating within a Group reporting structureBenefits* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and the Christmas closure period (pro-rated)* 5% employer pension contribution (3% employee)* Company bonus scheme, life cover, flexible benefits and hybrid working* A supportive working environment and genuinely wonderful colleaguesWorker Type:RegularNumber of Openings Available:1At Volaris Group we are all about finding the right people for the right role and allowing them the opportunity to directly contribute to the successes of our organization.
