Industrial Project Experience Essential
Hours: 07:30am - 17:30pm, 5 shifts per week but must include the weekends.
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to work on an industrial project in Peterborough. This is a fantastic freelance opportunity with a well-respected contractor, offering 5/6 months of work on an exciting and rewarding project.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing all aspects of the industrial project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
* Leading weekly programme meetings to track progress and address challenges.
* Managing and maintaining health and safety standards on site, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
* Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, suppliers, and the site team.
* Using IT systems to manage project documentation and reporting effectively.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in managing industrial projects
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and their application on site
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, capable of leading programme meetings with confidence
* IT literate and proficient in using project management tools and software
* A proactive leader who takes ownership of challenges and delivers results
Qualifications
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
* First Aid Certificate
* CSCS Card (Black/Gold preferred)
