As Area Sales ManagerApprenticeyou willsupportedby your Regional Sales Managerandbasedin theNorth East/ Gloucester area (dependent on successfulapplicantslocation).To support your apprenticeship,youll bestudying for yourSales Executive Apprenticeship Level 4 through areputable trainingprovider.
As part of theroleyoullbe requiredtomaintainexisting one-off installers and grow business levels with them via a network of merchants, to achieve set targets for selling Baxi domestic solutions including gas boilers, ASHPs, unvented cylinder ranges & domestic point of use Heatrae Sadia products.
The Area Sales ManagerApprenticewould alsobe responsible forworking with merchants in that area to sell the Baxi & Heatrae Sadia product range and pull through sales from the installers to the merchants. This will involve trade events, face to face booked appointments and telephone contact with both merchants and installers.
This role is vitally important to Baxi, we will be looking for a highly motivated individual who will work diligently using a journey plan, finding lucrative new business via the installer and merchant sectors.
As part of your role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Strive tomaintain& grow market share and volume for relevant Baxi &Heatraeproducts, whilst being mindful of margin contributions.
Fully embracing the vision and values of the company
Organised, pro-active approach to managing sales activity for the company.
Deliver the budget and build the new installer pipeline.
Meet and exceed all KPIs as outlined by your manager.
Manage day-to-day activities, ownreportsand communications.
Reducing the focus and thus importance on forecast demand byidentifyingtrends and having close relationships with key customers and decision makers.
Working on multiple targets atdifferent stages, at the same time
Negotiating and managing the needs and expectations of our customers, aiming to influence the buying decision.
You will be expected toidentifyand develop new customer relationships as well as managing existing accounts.
Building effective and cooperative working relationships will all internal and external colleagues e.g. non conflicting Manufacturers.
To ensure all Health and Safety procedures and current guidelines are upheld
Whatwerelooking for:
Based in either theNorth East/ Gloucester area (dependent on successfulapplicantslocation)youllbe self-motivated; works well in a team environment andhas the ability totalk to installers / merchants and sell them the features and benefits of the Baxi,HeatraeSadia and Main range. The successful applicant would also need to work with our Key Account Merchants in building up a trusting relationship for the benefit of all concerned.
Essential
Creative problem-solving& solution focused
Qualification or professional experience in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Architecture.
Able to multitask under pressure
Proven clear communicator- inperson, online and on the phone
Strong time management
Resilience and prioritisation
Teamworking and adaptability
Full UK Driving License
CurrentlylocatedinNorthEast/ Gloucester area
