My client is seeking to appoint an experienced HR / Employee Relations Manager to join us their team on a 12‑month fixed-term contract basis, supporting their UK & Ireland operations during an exciting period of growth and transformation. You'll join a high-performing HR team and take the lead on employee relations across a multi‑site, unionised manufacturing environment. 12‑month maternity cover with immediate start Hybrid working after training (approx. 60% onsite) Influence culture and ER strategy across UK & Ireland Part of a global business in 80 countries True generalist scope - with a strong ER and union engagement focus Career development opportunities within the Group What You'll Do As the divisional lead for employee relations, you will: Own and resolve complex ER cases - disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, appeals Build strong, collaborative union relationships, including negotiations and consultation Provide expert advice on HR policy, performance and absence management Coach, guide and upskill managers to strengthen leadership capability Contribute to recruitment processes when needed Ensure compliance and support audit activity Produce HR reports, KPIs and trend analysis to inform decision-making What You Bring We're looking for a confident, capable HR professional who thrives in a busy operational environment.
