As a result of Trust expansion, this newly created role will support the Director of People & Culture to deliver a responsive, professional and specialist HR service to all schools, staff and leaders within All Saints Catholic Academy Trust (ASCAT).
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert, proactive, tailored advice to Headteachers and line managers on ER casework, recruitment and performance management across the ASCAT portfolio - currently 14 schools and a central office within South West Hertfordshire.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate strong practical examples of previous ER caseloads, and who can support stakeholders during these processes. As this post involves day to day management of a small team, an adaptable, approachable personality is key, with previous line management experience an advantage.
Previous HR experience in the education sector would be ideal, however, applications with relevant transferable skills gained in other industries will be warmly received. ASCAT is committed to the development of its employees, and there will be opportunities to enhance a postholder's current CIPD qualifications though the Growth and Skills Levy.

This post is advertised at 30 hours per week (to be worked across 4 or 5 days), 52 weeks per year - although term time plus contracts may be considered
