Job Description
Quality Manager
Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (DOE)
Industry: Manufacturing
The successful candidate will work closely with production, engineering, and senior leadership to embed a strong quality culture and ensure customer and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with relevant ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
* Manage internal and external audits, including customer and certification audits
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes
* Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
* Analyse quality data and KPIs, reporting performance to senior management
* Support supplier quality management and incoming inspection processes
* Lead and develop quality team members where applicable
* Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards
About You
* Proven experience as a Quality Manager (or Senior Quality Engineer ready to step up) within a manufacturing environment
