Role Overview We are excited to introduce a newly created position in our HR team, that we believe will play a pivotal role in supporting the effective operation of HR systems and processes. This role will report directly to the HR Manager and will partner with all business functions on site. This role of HR Officer (HRIS and HR Analytics), is responsible for the effective management and optimisation of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and for delivering data-driven insights to support strategic HR decision-making. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and security of HR data while supporting continuous improvement in HR processes through analytics and system enhancements. This role also contributes to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and general HR business partnering to ensure a high-quality employee experience and alignment with organisational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong administration and analytical capabilities, will have advanced IT skills with a keen interest in AI and technological developments. They will enjoy and will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting HR data to inform strategic decisions related to recruitment, retention, development, engagement, diversity, and compliance. Work Details: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (or combination) 40 hours per week (including paid breaks) On site role based in Magheralin KEY RESPONSIBILITIES HRIS Management Administer and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality. Act as the first point of contact for HRIS-related queries and technical issues on site. Coordinate with central HR team, IT and vendors for system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting. Support the HR team, and train end-users on HRIS functionality and best practices. HR Analytics & Reporting Develop and maintain HR dashboards and regular reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, absence). Conduct data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights. Support workforce planning, diversity monitoring, and talent management initiatives with data. Ensure timely and accurate reporting for internal stakeholders and external compliance. Data Governance & Compliance Ensure HR data is managed in line with GDPR and other data protection regulations. Maintain data integrity through regular audits and validation checks. Support internal and external audits with accurate data and documentation. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes using HRIS capabilities. Participate in HRIS-related projects, including implementations and process redesigns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align HR systems with organisational needs. Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, shortlisting, and interview scheduling. Liaise with hiring managers to understand role requirements and support candidate selection. Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records in the HRIS. Payroll Tasks Prepare weekly payroll for our designated Payroll team to process reviewing employee absences, statutory leave, leavers etc for accurate payroll payments. Raise HR requisitions and ensure POs are created in a timely manner Employee Relations & HR Business Partnering Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. Support managers with employee relations matters such as performance, conduct, and absence management. Assist in investigations and documentation for disciplinary or grievance cases. Partner with line managers to support team development, engagement, and workforce planning. CANDIDATE PROFILE Essential Minimum of 3 years HR experience. Proven experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., iTrent, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.). Strong analytical skills with experience in HR data reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). Payroll experience Understanding of HR processes, including recruitment and employee relations. Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy and confidentiality. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across departments as well as external groups. Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask, ensuring delivery on long term strategic improvement projects, whilst also delivering on the daily/weekly transactional tasks Exposure to change management and overcoming resistance to change. The right to work and live in the UK. Desirable Experience with HRIS implementation or system upgrades. Strong Employment legislation knowledge CIPD qualification or working towards it.
