Location: The Oast Care Home. 2 Plains Avenue, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 7AT
Contracted hours: 24 Hours a Week - 3 x Shifts, 7am to 4pm, on rolling rota to include every other weekend

Responsibilities of the Cook Role:
* Provide a high standard.
* Ensure that the kitchen, food store and equipment is cleaned and maintained according to the kitchen cleaning schedule.
* Follow the Home’s menus ensuring special dietary needs are met.
Requirements of the Cook Role:
* Previous experience in cooking for large number of people
* City & Guilds 706-1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent levels 2 & 3. Certificate of basic food hygiene required but not essential as training will be given.
* A good all-round knowledge of Multi-Cultural Cuisine. Flexibility within the workplace to adapt menus according to client needs.
