THE EMPLOYER IS: MORNINGTON COMMUNITY PROJECTThe promotion and marketing of Mornington Community Project, including taking responsibility for the specific marketing campaigns and projects which engage local residents and potential donors in involvement in our activities, programs and services.
Responsibilities
* Plan, organise and manage marketing campaigns, promotional events and projects from conception through to completion, in line with Mornington’s agreed requirements.
* Develop literature and promotional material to market Mornington and its services and ensure that it is distributed effectively to targeted audiences, including those hard to reach or vulnerable.
* Utilise appropriate and available communications channels to ensure key messages reach internal users and external target audiences at agreed intervals, in line with Mornington guidelines.
* Maintain records of images for use in communications and ensure these are used in accordance with the MCP procedure and GDPR requirements.
* Give presentations and talks to groups and agencies about MCP projects and services.
* Attend events organised by partners and external agencies to raise awareness of and promote MCP services with communities and stakeholders.
* Ensure that MCP style is used consistently when producing marketing material.
* Co-ordinate and maintain information and content displayed on MCP,s notice boards, website and social media platforms ensuring they are up to date.
* Keep accurate records, produce reports and provide statistical data for analysis and performance management purposes.
* Attend meetings and networking events as required including out of normal office hours.
* Review and update Organisational Policies as required.
* Complete funding applications as part of the team.
Skills and Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Marketing, or the desire to acquire and upgrade.
* Experience in the use of IT skills i.e. Office suite and social media platforms.
* Good productivity and organisational skills.
* Ability to work in a proactive and positive way to promote Mornington and its services.
* Ability to take direction and work on your own initiative.
* Ability to effectively communicate and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, partners and external agencies.
* To demonstrate an informed understanding and commitment to uphold equality, diversity and inclusion in line with MCPs policy.
* Ability to work in a team.
* Full driving licence and use of car.
