Job Title: Employment LawyerSalary: £35,000 to £50,000 Salary BracketLocation: Leeds (Hybrid Working Available)Contract: Full Time, PermanentRole Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
* Advising businesses on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, including contracts, policies, grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies, and dismissals.
* Providing strategic advice on complex employment disputes, including discrimination claims, whistleblowing, and restrictive covenants.
* Handling Employment Tribunal claims from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and advocacy where appropriate.
* Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, staff handbooks, and settlement agreements.
* Advising on TUPE transfers, restructures, and business acquisitions from an employment law perspective.
* Representing business clients in negotiations, mediation, and dispute resolution proceedings.
* Keeping clients informed of changes in employment legislation and advising on their implications.
* Delivering training sessions and workshops to HR teams and senior management on employment law updates and best practices.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across other legal departments to provide holistic business advice.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high standard of client care and business development
