Location: Dursley, Gloucestershire

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Start Date: Immediate

Pay: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent

Office Location: Nailsworth Office


Vacancy: Sales Executive

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service via phone and email, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally. Your role will involve actively encouraging and expanding sales by contacting new and existing businesses. You will also handle administrative and sales duties to support smooth business operations. The main focus will be on the Irish sales territory, with additional responsibilities across the UK and Europe.


Responsibilities:

1. Sales:
* Liaising with customers via phone and face-to-face
* Providing quotes
* Processing customer orders
* Conducting product research and identification
* Handling customer queries and problem solving
* Performing sales analysis as required
* Upselling to customers
* Developing the UK market
1. Administrative:
* Invoicing
* Scanning, photocopying, and filing documents
* Managing courier and freight forwarder requirements
* Handling calls professionally and transferring as needed
* Resolving courier and freight issues and raising claims
* Drafting and formatting documents
* Ensuring accuracy of paperwork and figures
2. Additional:
* Attending training, workshops, and meetings
* Participating in trade shows
* Supporting special projects with confidentiality


Experience and Skills:


Work Experience:

* Sales experience in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Teamwork experience
* Experience working under demanding timescales


Knowledge and Skills:

* Good numeracy and literacy skills
* Customer and sales experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Strong communication skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Self-management and initiative
* Experience dealing with international suppliers
* Problem-solving skills at tactical and strategic levels

Note: The role is seasonal; during summer, hours increase to 40 per week, and in winter, decrease to 34 per week, averaging 37 hours/week with pay adjusted accordingly.
