What you’ll do on a typical day:
Provide HR guidance and support to our sites in the Northwest region on a range of people-related matters, from first line support to TUPE, redundancy and consultation processes
* Proactively develop the capability of direct reports through formal training, coaching and guidance on all HR-related activities
* Adopt a GXO Supply Chain culture on the sites whilst leading change projects within region or as designated by line manager
* Conduct regular and in-depth site HR reviews, identifying and driving any areas of improvement
* Assist the sites in the development of our managerial colleagues in terms of their own understanding and ability to support their operations in ER cases
* Facilitating harmonious employee relations with the site teams and any respective Trade Union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Demonstratable experience in a similar role / multi-site experience
* Bring a passionate, fast-paced approach with strong influencing skills to drive results and make things happen
* Must have extensive previous TUPE experience, both incoming and outgoing
* Strong experience of HR policy and practice, particularly around disciplinary, grievance, redundancies and TUPE situations
* Solid employment law knowledge and CIPD qualified – essential
* Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements
