Location: Bournemouth / Poole, Dorset Category: Sales Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 OTE (uncapped) About the Role We are looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Executive to join a busy, customer-focused automotive showroom in the Bournemouth/Poole area. While previous experience is beneficial, we're primarily looking for someone who is eager to learn, confident in engaging with customers, and committed to delivering an exceptional experience. Full product and systems training will be provided. This role offers a competitive basic salary, uncapped commission structure, and excellent long-term career potential for the right individual. What You'll Be Doing As a Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in identifying prospects, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward the most suitable vehicle and associated products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Presenting vehicle options, adapting your approach to each customer's buying preferences, and encouraging engagement through test drives. Discussing pricing, payment methods, and finance arrangements directly with customers in line with company guidelines. Participating fully in ongoing training and development sessions to support business goals. Working closely with the administration team to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer expectations, placing orders, updating records, and arranging any required pre-delivery work. Following up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships for future business. Planning and managing your sales activity, including making proactive calls to existing customers, past prospects, and new enquiries. Collaborating with colleagues across all departments to ensure customers receive a seamless and professional experience. What We're Looking For Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload. Quick learner with the ability to retain and communicate information effectively. Positive work ethic and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work to deadlines and achieve business targets. Comfortable responding to changes in the market or organisation. Competent with PC, Microsoft, and web-based technologies. Working Hours Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 18:00 (1-hour lunch & one weekday off) Saturday: 08:30 - 17:00 (1-hour lunch) Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00 (on a rota basis) What's in It for You?
