A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a well-established organisation operating across South Yorkshire. With around 100 employees and offices in Sheffield, Rotherham, and Barnsley, this is a truly pivotal standalone role where you will shape the HR function and drive forward change.
After several years of stability, the business is ready to take a fresh look at its people strategy. The incoming HR Manager will be instrumental in reviewing current practices, implementing improvements, and supporting the leadership team to develop a modern, forward-thinking approach to HR.
The role
You’ll be both hands-on and strategic – responsible for day-to-day HR operations while also leading longer-term planning and transformation. This includes:
1. Reviewing all HR processes, policies, and systems to identify efficiencies and improvements.
2. Acting as the key point of contact for all HR matters, advising the MD and shareholders.
3. Supporting managers and staff across all three sites with employee relations, performance, and engagement.
