As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising construction projects, overseeing site works, and orchestrating the activities that take place on the construction site
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.
* Coordinating and supervising construction workers
* Delivering Friday Focus and other safety TBT.
* CAT and Genny download
* Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and reporting issues.
* Managing the use of construction equipment and machinery.
* Resolving problems and implementing improvements in main laying process
* Maintaining communication between Operation manager, project managers, site staff, and clients.
Tasks and Duties
The day-to-day tasks of a Site Manager may vary depending on the project and phase of construction, but typically include:
Reviewing daily work schedules and coordinating workers on site.
* Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
* Supervising and providing guidance to site workers and subcontractors.
* Ensuring materials are supplied and work is completed on schedule.
* Documenting and reporting progress to stakeholders and adhering to compliance regulations.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* SSSTS/SMSTS
* NRSWA supervisor
* First Aid at work
* Temporary works supervisor
* Familiarity with design plans
* Additionally, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve are essential for the role.
