What you will contribute
As a Business Developer & Board Member for GELITA in the UK, you will manage existing accounts, seek new customer opportunities, and oversee sales of Collagen Peptides and Gelatins, focusing on specialty portfolios. You will lead efforts to grow the region through new business development, manage key accounts, guide distribution partners, and contribute to the global strategy implementation. Additionally, you will handle regular business reporting, support local event organization, and manage the GELITA AG Representative Office in the UK.

Responsibilities
* Management of existing accounts and hunting for new customer opportunities in B2B supplements, food and pharma markets (B2B).
* Sales of Collagen Peptides and Gelatins with focus on GELITA’s specialty portfolios.
* Grow the region with a focus on new business development.
* Account Management, management of selected Key Accounts.
* Leading distribution partners to successfully develop and grow existing and new business.
* Regular reporting on relevant business figures and forecasts.
* Contribute to development and implementation of global GELITA strategy in the UK.
* Support organization of local trade shows, conferences and customer events.
* Management of the Representative Office of GELITA AG in the UK.
Qualifications
* University degree in International Business, Business Administration, Food Technology or similar.
* Minimum 5 years plus of work experience in B2B Sales.
* Experience in the Food / Pharma / Supplement industry mandatory (Business to Business).
* Experience in selling ingredients and/or excipients; nutraceutical background a plus.
* Entrepreneurial leadership skills with orientation to managing small teams, building new businesses, and working in a matrix organization.
* Excellent communication skills in English; further languages desirable.
* Preferably UK citizen.
* Willing to spend 3–4 months in Eberbach (Germany) for intensive product knowledge training and join the European Sales team for customer visits during onboarding.
* Excellent IT user skills in Microsoft 360 and Salesforce; SAP S4 HANA knowledge helpful.
* Experience in new market entries desirable.
