Job Summary: Rackspace is seeking dynamic, driven, ambitious sales professionals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join the Rackspace Enterprise New Business sales team focusing on complex solution opportunities. The primary responsibilities include full sales lifecycle management: prospecting, discovery, education, solution proposing, negotiating, responding to inquiries, developing qualified leads through outbound calling and events, and closing business with corporations that have complex server configurations. Candidates should have strong negotiation skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a natural sales drive. Excellent communication skills are essential for presenting via WebEx, face-to-face, and phone. Candidates should embrace Rackspace culture, contribute to team events, and suggest cultural improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet and exceed sales quotas through outbound/inbound leads, selling Rackspace's propositions to new prospects in a consultative manner.
2. Focus on selling into the UK Healthcare sector, especially NHS.
3. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, working closely with implementation teams, and managing forecasts via Salesforce.
4. Collaborate with Solutions Engineers for presales assessments to meet customer requirements.
5. Develop understanding of prospects' business needs and how Rackspace solutions can meet current and future requirements; drive new propositions as needed.
6. Build relationships within prospects to deepen account penetration, focusing on C-level engagement.
7. Engage with channel partners to develop new opportunities.
8. Adhere to security policies and procedures.
9. Achieve monthly targets through successful lead execution and account penetration.
10. Sales cycles typically last 2-6 months.
11. Track KPIs, documentation, and processes.
Qualifications:
* Professional sales training and knowledge (Spring, Scotsman, Miller Heiman, CCV, VBS).
* Experience selling professional services into Healthcare, particularly NHS.
* Proven track record in new business development.
* Degree or relevant commercial experience.
* Moderate negotiation skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Accurate forecasting skills.
* Consultative sales approach.
* Experience engaging with IT Managers, Directors, and C-level executives.
