An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a fast-growing food manufacturing business. This newly evolved role is critical to supporting a dynamic leadership team and delivering the people strategy needed for continued growth.
You’ll oversee all aspects of HR, from strategic workforce planning to employee engagement, L&D, and day-to-day HR operations. You’ll also manage a small HR team and work closely with the Managing Directors to align the people agenda with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a people strategy that supports business growth and operational excellence
* Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
* Manage employee relations and act as the main HR advisor to managers
* Oversee L&D plans, training compliance, and performance management processes
* Support payroll coordination, HR systems (HRIS, T&A), and HR reporting
* Ensure up-to-date policies, contracts, and legal compliance
* Drive a culture of engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and continuous improvement
Candidate Profile
* 2+ years in an HR Manager or senior HR role, ideally in food or FMCG
* CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law
* Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills
* Proficient in HR systems and MS Office
* Proactive, people-focused, and commercially aware
