The role & about the client: On behalf of our client, ITS Building People are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join construction company based in the New Forest. This is a temporary position due to start mid July. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Input into risk/opportunities register, and implement actions to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities. Control and manage preliminaries Experience of refurbishments. Maintain accurate site record, daily diaries and weekly progress reports. Review design drawings for build-ability and co-ordination. Raise RFI where appropriate Manage the flow of information as delegated by the Project Manager to suit the programme of works on site Assist the Project Manager and or Design Manager to produce and monitor the MIRS Agree sub-contractors long term and short term programme and monitor performance against these programmes Manage and direct site labour and maintain accurate records Monitor and understand position against contract programme, discuss and agree recovery programmes with the Project Manager Essential Qualifications/ experience required/ specific requirements for the role: Previous experience working with commercial projects Strong technical understanding Experience with internal refurbishment projects Be an innovative thinker and problem solver The ability to develop, manage and maintain successful relationships, both internally and externally Essential to have a DBS Relevant tickets, DBS, SMSTS and First Aid How to apply: Please send an up-to-date CV in strict confidence or contact the office.
