Our Grimsby based client is seeking to recruit a full time and permanent Handyman to undertake works on their local tenanted properties ranging from 1 bedroom flats to a 6 bedroom detached property.The successful candidate will be required to visit rental properties and undertake any necessary repairs required in a domestic environment, including Responsible for completing routine maintenance, undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks. You will be expected to be versatile, with multiple duties and responsibilities, including: * Decorating: painting walls and ceilings, touching up skirting boards and door frames, sanding floors and other wooden surfaces. * Repairs and Maintenance: installing cabinets, doors, countertops and flooring including tiles, carpets or other hardwood and laminate aspects including damaged window frames. * Gardening: mowing lawns, trimming hedges, bushes, and trees, weeding, watering flower beds, and repairing border walls and fences. And other tasks within your capabilities. A full clean driving licence is required. Basic tools would be required and any specialist tools would be considered at our clients' expense. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and your diary will be managed by the office. You will also be provided with a sign written van to undertake your work duties although you will be required to provide your own basic tools to be able to complete the job. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience or knowledge of working in domestic properties. * Proactive approach to engaging with customers. * An understanding of the importance of Health & Safety in the workplace. * Full UK Driving Licence. Package: * £28,000.00 per annum depending on experience. * 28 days annual holiday including Bank Holidays with an additional day accrued per completed year of employment up to an additional 5 days. * Enrolment on a company health scheme. * Auto enrollment onto People's Pension with the offer of an Aviva Pension Scheme.
