Manpower Recruitment are in process of working with an established hospitality environment based on the outskirts of Banbury, Oxfordshire. We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, confident, and experienced Breakfast Cook to help support the daily running in a busy kitchen. Working hours will be 40hrs per week, working 5/7 days including weekends and start time will be needed for 6.30am. Please note a driving licence will be needed due to location and no direct bus or train links The role is paying £30000pa. Job Overview The Breakfast Cook plays a crucial role in the hospitality industry, as their work directly impacts guest satisfaction and overall success of the establishment. A good breakfast can make a guest's entire stay memorable, and the Breakfast Cook is responsible for meeting and exceeding guest expectations. In addition, breakfast is often the first meal of the day, which means that first impressions are critical. Positive feedback and recommendations from guests can go a long way in attracting new customers and growing business. Furthermore, the Breakfast Chef represents the establishment, and their work is a reflection of the brand. A Breakfast Chef who is skilled, friendly, and professional can enhance the reputation of the establishment and even lead to increased profitability. Breakfast Cook Job Description As a Breakfast Cook, your main task is to prepare and cook breakfast meals in accordance with the restaurant's standards and requirements. Your role involves managing the kitchen and ensuring a smooth and efficient preparation process. Overview of the job description You will be responsible for preparing a wide range of breakfast dishes, including but not limited to, eggs benedict, pancakes, and waffles. You will be required to adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations while preparing and handling food items. To excel in this role, you will need to have excellent cooking skills, knowledge of breakfast recipes, and strong organizational abilities. You should also be able to remain calm under pressure and maintain a high level of consistency and efficiency during peak hours. Required skills and qualifications To qualify for the role of Breakfast Chef, you will need to possess the following: At least 2-5 years of experience in a similar role Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and team-working skills Strong organizational ability A willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays Preparing and cooking breakfast meals according to established recipes and restaurant requirements If interested, please get in contact with a Manpower representative.
