My clients are looking to appoint three Site Managers on an initial three month temporary contract basis to be based at two sites in Leeds. My clients are a multiple disciplined construction business working on predominantly commercial refurbishment projects. The experienced Site Manager capable of delivering works within a live operational environment, ensuring safety, quality, and programme performance throughout the project lifecycle. The buildings being refurbed/emptied are occupied public sector offices and need to be returned to the landlord so have to go back to their original state. Key Accountabilities: Oversee all day to day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, and in line with the construction programme. Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication, sequencing, and control of work fronts. Manage site logistics, access routes, delivery coordination, and segregation in a live environment to minimise disruption. Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure operatives work in compliance with RAMS and project requirements. Monitor progress, identify constraints early, and escalate risks or delays to the project team. Ensure all works meet required standards, including quality inspections, sign offs, and completion of ITPs. Act as the on site champion for Health & Safety, ensuring full adherence to CDM regulations, company HSEQ standards, and statutory requirements. Manage works in active, public facing, or operational spaces while maintaining safe segregations and minimising disruption. Coordinate closely with facility managers, operational teams, and stakeholders to sequence works safely around ongoing activities. Provide clear communication regarding temporary closures, diversions, shutdowns, isolations, and reinstatement activities. Ensure the site remains clean, well presented, and compliant with safety signage, access control, and emergency arrangements. Provide confident leadership to site teams, promoting a proactive safety culture and problem solving mindset. Maintain daily reporting, progress updates, labour/plant records, and site diaries. Support the Project Manager with programme updates, risk management, change control, and coordination meetings. Ensure good working relationships with clients, consultants, and local stakeholders. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: SMSTS CSCS First Aid Office refurbishment and Office move experience Ideally joinery background and high-quality finishing experience.
