Engineering Site Manager\nNottingham\n£60k - £70k + Fantastic Company Benefits\nPermanent\nI am currently looking for an experienced and established industrial Engineering Site Manager to head up a busy and talented Engineering Department\nYour key responsibilities will be to manage, develop, and lead the Engineering Team, ensuring delivery in line with KPI and budgetary targets.\nWhilst ensuring compliance with all company and legal standards, you will be responsible for managing contractors, engineering suppliers regarding maintenance and all spares activity. You will be heavily focused on all continuous improvement activities\nWith a proven results-driven background, you need to be able to showcase this, with experience in a high speed / volume manufacturing or production-type industry.\nYou will need to have had experience successfully managing a team, had responsibility for managing budgets, and have proven examples of where you have made continuous improvements, and it’s subsequent result\nKey responsibilities will include: -\n * Managing, developing and leading the Engineering Team\n * Managing the engineering operation on site in line with KPI and budgetary targets.\n * Ensuring the team complies with all company and legal standards when working (Health and Safety, hygiene, etc).\n * To ensure continuous improvement plans are in place, and drive year-on-year improvements.\n * Line management responsibility for all direct reports, ensuring regular performance reviews are in place\nIdeally you will have been an Engineer at some point, conducting both mechanical and electrical maintenance duties, and holding an academic qualification to support the role (mechanical, electrical, control etc), with experience of continuous improvement techniques (Six Sigma / 5S / Kaizen), with H&S qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH etc).\nIf you would like to apply then please send through a copy of your most up-to-date CV, together with a cover letter and reference 97233/ESMCRLKN27N
