Business Development Executive
Location: Lancing & Hastings, East Sussex (Office & Field-Based)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £28,000 + Commission
Hunters' client is seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join their growing commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a forward-thinking, environmentally focused business, helping clients improve their recycling and sustainability while building a rewarding sales career. This is a varied role combining office, field, and client-facing activities, ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, winning new business, and making a real impact.
Business Development Executive - The Role
* Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and inbound enquiries
* Book and attend client meetings, presenting tailored recycling and waste solutions
* Work closely with the Commercial and BID teams to maximise opportunities
* Prepare quotations and advise clients on additional services
* Maintain accurate CRM records and report on sales activity
Business Development Executive - The Fit
* Confident, engaging communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Highly motivated, target-driven, and eager to build a sales career
* Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
* Strong listening skills with a consultative approach
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
