Sales Executive, Technical Sales, Sales Engineer, Internal Sales, Project Manager
Based at our site in Corby, this role is a mix of projects, sales and account management. Working with and shadowing the Sales Manager, you will develop your skills whilst learning our niche sector and customers. This role will give you opportunities to meet with clients across the UK and Ireland, while also receiving world‑class product training at the manufacturing headquarters in Italy.
Key Responsibilities
* Project: Act as hub between customers, suppliers and internal contacts to keep everyone informed about progress of manufacture, installation and commissioning of capital equipment projects.
* Sales: Follow up on enquiries, contact current and lapsed clients, proactively generate business through prospecting and canvassing companies across pharmaceutical, food, general industrial sectors, booking meetings via database, self‑generated leads, exhibitions and marketing.
* Account Management: Work with a broad and long‑standing account base to check satisfaction with current projects and establish timelines for future needs. Book and attend meetings across UK and Ireland to discuss those requirements.
Person Specification
* Technical, engineering, mechanical mindset (school, work experience or hobbies). Comfortable with mechanical engineering principles.
* Excellent customer engagement skills and credible presentation.
* Aspired to build a career in sales management and project management. Will work closely with Sales Manager to learn niche industry, selling high‑quality, internationally renowned equipment to high‑profile customers.
* Previous experience of internal sales or project management in technical or engineering company is advantageous.
