Your new role As a Document Control specialist you will provide essential support across both document management and wider business support functions. Key Responsibilities Include: Inputting document data into registers, ensuring information is accurate and up to date Distributing the latest approved documents and drawings to appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable Maintaining files and control logs on various projects Assist with the organisation and management of documents and drawings in conjunction with naming and numbering conventions Assist with quality checking and auditing of document databases Undertaking general document control administration including document release and publishing, and handling queries What you'll need to succeed To excel in this role, you will bring: 4 GCSEs including English at Grade C or above (or equivalent). Proficiency across Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills. Ability to prioritise tasks, use initiative and work both independently and as part of a team. A client-focused, professional approach with strong attention to detail. Previous document control or construction industry experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
