A leading global media organisation seeks an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its Legal team in London for a 10 month FTC. This role will lead and oversee employment legal matters, including pensions, incentives, immigration and compliance. It will entail engagement with senior leadership, including C-suite executives and with global HR and legal teams to ensure best legal and regulatory compliance. The position is situated in London and 4 days in the office is required. The successful candidate will : Provide expert legal counsel on international employment matters across global markets. Partner with HR leaders to support employee relations, consultations, and policy initiatives. Lead employment contract reviews, disciplinary procedures, restructurings, and litigation management. Oversee legal aspects of diversity and inclusion, pensions, immigration, and whistleblowing programs. Manage relationships with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions. Advise on compliance issues, workforce representation matters, and employee investigations. Support cross-border projects, regulatory audits, and internal training programs. Contribute strategically to global risk reporting and legal governance structures. Requirements: - Qualified Employment solicitor with upwards of 5 years' PQE in international employment law, preferably with both private practice and in-house experience Strong background in advising multinational businesses. Skilled in employment litigation, managing legal risk, internal investigations Experience handling international consultations, labour relations, and compliance matters. Knowledge of pensions and global mobility issues, including immigration law, is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
