HR Manager
Whytematter Staffing Solutions is proud to be partnering with our client, a reputable and forward-thinking organisation based in Belfast, to recruit a standalone HR Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a CIPD Level 7 qualified professional to take full ownership of the HR function, supporting a dynamic team of approximately 60 staff.
Key Responsibilities
4. Provide comprehensive HR support across the business, acting as the go-to person for all HR matters
5. Lead on recruitment, onboarding, induction, and workforce planning
6. Manage employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance processes, in line with current legislation and best practice
7. Oversee performance management frameworks and support line managers in appraisals and development planning
8. Review and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with company culture
9. Advise senior leadership on HR strategy, workforce trends, and organisational development
10. Support learning and development initiatives, training delivery, and succession planning
11. Maintain and analyse HR data and reporting (absence, turnover, engagement) to drive continuous improvement
12. Ensure GDPR compliance in all HR documentation and records
13. Promote a positive workplace culture that supports staff wellbeing and retention
Essential Criteria
14. CIPD Level 7 qualified (or working toward it)
15. Proven experience in a standalone HR role or in leading an HR function
16. Strong knowledge of UK and NI employment law and HR best practice
17. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
18. Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
19. Confident in handling sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
20. Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office suite
Desirable
21. Experience in an SME or professional services environment
22. Coaching or mediation qualifications
23. Experience implementing or upgrading HR systems
