PURPOSE:




This position directly manages all aspects of human resources for our PTTech business and serves as a trusted business partner who advises, designs, and implements HR plans and actions that support strategy, operational improvement, change management, and team effectiveness. The HR Manager will lead organizational development activities-including union avoidance, right:sizing, due diligence, integrations, and workforce planning-ensure decisions align with Timken's values and legal standards, and act as an employee advocate for talent acquisition, development, retention, and fair treatment.




RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute a business:aligned HR strategy, translating objectives into prioritized, measurable HR initiatives and tactics; track HR metrics and recommend improvements.
:
Serve as the primary HR advisor to leaders; provide practical, cost:effective HR solutions and coach managers on communication, performance management, and change leadership.
:
Own talent lifecycle activities: workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and right:sizing or redeployment.
:
Design and deliver targeted learning and development programs to close capability gaps and build high:performing teams.
:
Implement compensation and benefits programs, advise on labor market trends, and recommend adjustments to attract and retain key talent.
:
Employee and labor relations, ensuring compliance with local laws and Timken policies, minimizing collective:bargaining risk, and maintaining a union:free status.
:
Support HR aspects of M and A, integrations, and due diligence-manage workforce transitions, policy harmonization, and cultural alignment.
:
Model Timken values in all HR practices, ensuring equitable treatment, confidentiality, and consistent application of processes.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or related field with 7+ years progressive HR experience; OR Master's degree with 5+ years progressive HR experience.



FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

:
HR generalist or HR business partner experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
:
Experience in employee/labor relations, workforce planning, organizational design, talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.
:
Knowledge of compensation/benefits and local labor market dynamics.
:
Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and change:management skills.
:
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HRIS/ATS.
:
Results:oriented, team:focused, proactive problem solver with high integrity.
