FOOD TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN

Initially this is a part time position, working approx. 23 hours over four days a week, through to the end of this academic year (July 2026).
We require a passionate and capable Food Technology Technician to support the teaching and learning in Food Technology. The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall administration, organisation and provision of equipment and ingredients and will assist and support the students in class where appropriate.
You need to be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be a competent home cook with baking skills and a liking for and sensitivity to young people. You will be well organised and have a good knowledge of food hygiene.
Knowledge of health and safety in a school Food Technology kitchen and basic First Aid would be an advantage, but we will provide training if necessary.
