HR Manager (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)Location: South London (On site)
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP – Contract until June (end of term)
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term/temporary contract. This role is pivotal in managing the full HR function within our school, ensuringpliance and delivering high-quality support to staff and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage end-to-end HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, andpliance.
2. Oversee payroll checking and processing in collaboration with the finance team.
3. Lead and support HR projects aligned with school objectives.
4. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
5. Report directly to the Bursar and Board ofernors.
Requirements
6. Proven experience in a similar HR role within the education sector.
7. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
8. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
9. Experience with MIS systems and HR software.
10. Excellent organisational andmunication skills.
Additional Information
11. There will be a handover period to ensure a smooth transition.
12. This is an on-site role; remote working is not available.
