About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager with a strong civil engineering background to support a major Overhead Line (OHL) infrastructure project in the Central Belt of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact energy project on a contract basis, with a minimum 6-month duration and potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily site operations, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery.
2. Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain progress and resolve issues.
3. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
4. Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and quality control documentation.
5. Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
6. Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects, ideally within the power or utilities sector.
7. Prior involvement in Overhead Line (OHL) or similar infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
8. Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety protocols.
9. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
10. Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
11. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred.
Contract Details:
12. Duration: Minimum 6 months, with potential for extension.
13. Rate: £400/ day (paid via CIS).
14. Location: Central Belt, Scotland (site-based role).
15. Start Date: ASAP
