Provision
SEMH settings catering to students who have been or are at risk of exclusions from other settings due to their exceptionally complex behavioural needs. Our provisions provide bespoke learning programmes and positive behaviour support for small groups of students that have a variety of learning difficulties tied in with exceptionally challenging behaviours.
Role
* Permanent role assessed after initial settling in phase.
* Work with a well‑trained team of staff supporting extreme challenging behaviours; full training provided.
* Support students on a 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 basis.
* Work with children who have SEMH, ASC and sensory processing difficulties.
Essential Requirements
* Experience working with challenging behaviour, either within education, healthcare or other equivalent alternatives.
* Specified A or C in English and Maths at GCSE (C required).
* Right to work in the UK and currently resides in or close to Taunton.
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to gain one.
* Desirable: Teach Level 2 or similar positive behaviour management training.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving needs of students and the school community.
* Flexibility to work across all age ranges as age groups cannot be guaranteed.
* Must be available immediately and full‑time.
