We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our school’s HR department. The HR Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our human resources strategies and practices effectively support the educational needs of our students and staff. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our school’s HR department. The HR Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our human resources strategies and practices effectively support the educational needs of our students and staff. This position requires a combination of HR expertise, leadership, and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive school community.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the recruitment and onboarding process for academic and non-academic staff.
* Maintain and update employee records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
* Support and implement staff professional development initiatives, including in-house and external training opportunities.
* Advise management and staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Coordinate and facilitate staff performance evaluations and feedback processes.
* Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and school regulations.
* Assist with payroll administration and benefits management.
* Organize and support staff events and wellness programs.
* Address employee relations issues and mediate workplace conflicts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of four years’ experience in HR management or a related role, preferably in an educational setting.
* Strong ICT proficiency and ability to utilize HR information systems and technology in daily tasks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
* Familiarity with international school operations and employment standards is an advantage.
* Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently, managing multiple priorities.
