We are seeking an experienced and motivated Reward Manager to join our client’s team and oversee their pay review process. This crucial role will ensure that their compensation strategies align with business objectives and market trends, enhancing employee satisfaction and supporting the organization's reputation as an employer of choice. The ideal candidate will be ready to hit the ground running, swiftly adapting to their culture and processes. This is a Fixed-Term Contract until at least April 2026 with a minimum 1 day per month in the office, with flexible working options available. Key Responsibilities: Lead the annual pay review process, ensuring alignment with business strategy and market competitiveness. Conduct detailed market analysis and benchmarking to inform compensation decisions. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and management to provide insights and support for identifying pay structure adjustments. Develop and maintain reward policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing reward programs, recommending enhancements or new initiatives to foster employee engagement and retention. Monitor compensation-related trends and legislative changes, advising on potential impacts on payroll and benefits strategy. Prepare and present analytical reports and recommendations to senior leadership regarding compensation strategies and outcomes. Serve as a subject matter expert on reward policies and practices, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders. Drive communication of reward initiatives, ensuring that employees understand the value of their total rewards. Collaborate with external vendors for compensation surveys, system integration, and other reward-related projects. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a reward management role, with a strong focus on pay review processes. Extensive knowledge of compensation strategies, analytics, and market trends within the retail sector. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Proficient in HRIS and analytical tools; experience with compensation management software is desirable. Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation concerning pay and rewards. Desirable Qualifications: Professional certification in Compensation or Human Resources is an advantage. Experience with employee engagement strategies related to compensation and benefits.
