The Venue: Located in the heart of Manchester, The Bridgewater Hall is a distinguished cultural venue hosting over 300 performances annually, ranging from classical music and rock to pop, spoken word events, and a dynamic learning program. Our unique and iconic building gives the best possible space for music concerts, shows, conferences and events About the Role: As our Conference and Events Executive, you will support the sales team in handling enquiries and planning. This is key role within both the team and the wider venue and a fast-paced position, you will be lots of different things to lots of different people and no two days will be the same. We are looking for someone with drive and energy, as you will support event organisers throughout their time on site with us, as well as attending/exhibiting at industry exhibitions and networking events. You will also own and deliver our administrative process, including contracting and invoicing plus preparing event sheets by liaising with clients, suppliers and internal departments. You will play a key role throughout the customer journey and on the day of the event. PLEASE NOTE: This is a Maternity Cover Position and we will only look to offer a 9 Months Fixed-Term contract. Conducting sales and familiarisation visits with prospective clients. work closely with the Conference & Events Sales Manager and Deputy Conference & Events Manager, to ensure effective management of the Hall’s diary. To ensure the effective communication of client requirements to all relevant internal departments and service providers, including the production of weekly event schedules. To assist with maintaining and updating all Conference & Events information on The Bridgewater Hall website and social media accounts.
