Base24 Developer
Remote (UK Wide with some Adhoc travel to Swindon or London)
If based commutable to London or Swindon then role is hybrid (2 days on site/ 3 work from home)
As a Base24 Developer, you will be responsible for analysing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code. You will also perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work.

For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events in one of our office sites. What you’ll be doing
In this role, you are expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep knowledge and experience.
You should have influencing and advisory skills, as you will be responsible for team decisions and engaging with multiple teams to contribute to key decisions. Additionally, you will be expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
Expert proficiency in ACI Payment Systems and Base24-Classic is required.
Advanced proficiency in Design & Build Enablement using TAL/TACL ad COBOL Design & Development, and Test Execution and Management are recommended.
About you
You should have a strong understanding of:
* HP Nonstop architecture, scalability, fault tolerance
* Configuration of requester/server applications
* Hierarchical Database file structures
* Transaction monitoring facility - rollback/record locking
* File utility program to maintain, access, secure
* Inscribe files Report generator
* Event monitoring
* Batch control Tools
* Ability to debug compiled code in realtime
* Security controls
* Ability to sketch out a B24 system to process ATM and Switch transactions with message flows
* Includes understanding of PSD2, Apple Pay, Tokenisation
* Includes knowledge of ATM config files
* Strong understanding of ISO8583 ( Visa/Link), STM, PSTM, Tokens Institution Updates Base24 System configuration and control
* Base24 transaction auditing and diagnostics
* Base24 institution configuration CPF,IDF,PBF etc Web services configuration and control TSS, ACI desktop, Key maintenance Iliad, Paragon, Visa VTS Source file repository control
* Strong understanding of source code change standards Knowledge of writing detailed plans for implementing change into production
