About the role

Main Place of Work: Penarth
Description: Be responsible for the general management of the kitchen and for providing meals for older people in a residential setting in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance.
About you
You will need:
1. Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum)
2. Experience of larger scale catering operation
3. Understanding of Special dietary requirements e.g. diabetic, vegetarian,high protein
4. Cooking skills and the ability to motivate and supervise kitchen assistants
5. The ability to plan menus and organise work environment
6. Be able to use their own initiate
7. Good standard of the English language both verbally and in writing
8. Good numeral skills
