Job Description
My client is a world leading global law firm, with an outstanding reputation across financial institutions and governments worldwide, who are looking to hire a HR Manager into their well established HR team, on a permanent basis.
The HR Manager will manage stakeholder relationships across the London practice groups and on occasion the firm’s global offices, dealing with HR contacts, as well as working directly with Office Managers and Partners. Working closely with the Senior HR leaders in London and globally:
The key duties will include:
* Building strong and effective stakeholder relationships within the business services leadership teams and the wider People function, driving consistency across the region.
* Directing and advising business leaders in all aspects of people matters, including people strategies, capacity, capability, talent and inclusion to deliver against the wider global people agenda.
* Driving the People strategy across the Office Operations team and global Business Intelligence team and being a ‘critical friend’ to all HR Managers/Office Managers across the region and improve the HR value-add.
* Leading complex Employee Relations cases, advising and guiding the HR team and managers through the process. Providing an escalation point for casework, which brings a high level of risk to the Firm, working with specialist areas and General Counsel.
* Leading and planning the delivery of the HR cyclical activities, such as performance management and compensation reviews across the global regions, developing regional insights and recommendations to business services leaders and Chiefs.
* Providing coaching to leaders across business services to encourage effective communication and problem resolution.
* Advocating opportunities to drive continuous improvement opportunities to deliver a great employee experience.
* Helping drive decision-making in the London office, working with the office executive partner and London admin partner to improve the employee experience and achieve the London strategic priorities
The HR Manager will be degree educated and have an exceptional understanding and experience of HR Business Partnering, both from an operations and strategic perspective. You will have proven expertise in both stakeholder engagement, project management and complex ER and will have lead people strategy previously. You will have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop relationships and build networks quickly. You will be an excellent communicator, have strong attention to detail and be professional in your approach to work, maintaining a high level of standards.
